Privacy Policy

WeCare stores the following data when creating an account and logging in:

• a user-chosen name
• an email address
• a password (as a checksum – never in plain text)
• the date and time
• the user agent of the browser used

This data is stored as long as the account exists. If a user deletes their account, this data is also completely deleted.

For security reasons, WeCare logs various user actions, such as logins; this log data is retained for a maximum of 30 days.

WeCare uses Mapbox to provide the map functionality. Only location data (coordinates and zoom level) is exchanged with this service.
